A new HF channel model and its implementation in a real-time simulator

摘要

The authors describe a new approach to HF channel modeling and simulation that is applicable to either narrowband or wideband high frequency (HF) channels. The channel model has a physical basis in that certain ionospheric layer parameters are introduced as input. The model is compared with measured results. Then the design of a real-time hardware channel simulator is discussed.
