AN EVENT CONTROLLED TOKEN PASSING ALGORITHM

摘要

This paper describes a new version of token-passing protocol, which is based on the sequence of events on the bus, where the stations form a logical ring. The protocol is explained and it's performance is analyzed. It is shown that this protocol shows a improvement in performace compared with the token ring and token passing bus schemes.
