Design of a Mmulti-function Terminal for Communication Using the ISDN Basic Access

Integrated Services Digital Network is a new type of universal information transfer network. ISDN provides many kinks of services on a uniqe int(e)rface, such as telephone, telex, facimile, data communica tion.However , all existing equipments don't have this interface. For this reason, we design a terminal adapter which makes it possible to connect these non-ISDN equipments to the uernetwork interface in ISDN, and prvides users with various services through the basic 2B+D access point. The paper describes a scheme of a plug-in PC-ISDN card. The functional and technical description of the card are given.
