Switching of information services in the uk network and evolution towards the intelligent network

摘要

This paper highlights the growth of information services within British Telecom's network and describes new adjunct switching developments which have been introduced to provide more efficient distribution of some of these services. In the future such services will expand and will be provided by the evolving intelligent network, possibly using intelligent peripherals are discussed.
