mmbi, Inc launched mobile multimediabroadcasting services on April 1st 2012. The service brand is“NOTTV”, and it expresses our strong desire to exceedexisting TV services and to create new types of program andcontent formats, and furthermore if new types of life-styleemerge, that is our ultimate goal. “NOTTV” provides paychannel service and the number of subscribers is over half amillion as of this January. The system uses ISDB-Tmmtechnologies and high-quality real time service and filebased(storage type) service are provided to thecustomer. The service concept is “FLOW”, not“STOCK”. “Live” and “Original” are the key words of theservices. The most important point is a new servicemodel. This business is not so easy, because there weremany failures in mobile TV services throughout theworld. We think the key issues for the success of thisbusiness are:1) Spreading receiving devices2) Broadcasting area development in cost-efficient way3) Contents and programsThese three factors should be synchronously developed. Inthis paper, key factors for service and business developmentwill be described.
