Mobile DTV as a Digital Radio Distribution Platform

Mobile DTV continues its gradual emergence inthe US market. While progress and discussion focus onvideo applications, this paper describes the application ofthe technology to audio-only services, or “Mobile DTVRadio.” Various solutions and applications to actualmarkets are considered. The benefits and perceivedshortcomings of alternative digital audio distributionmethods are discussed.
