In this paper,we proposed a novel adaptive recursive least square structured frequency-domain channel estimation (RLS-SCE) for single carrier with frequency-domain equalization (SC-FDE) in 60 GHz high-data-rate wireless communications.It is low complexity due to the diagonal matrix inversion operation in frequency-domain and the length of the estimated parameters is as the same as the cyclic prefix (CP) which is far less than the length of data blocks.Moreover,a low complexity interpolation filter is exploited to interpolate the estimated parameters to the final channel frequency response (CFR).We have compared the complexity of our proposed RLS-SCE with that of the least squares(LS) and RLS unstructured channel estimation(UCE) in detail.The simulation results show our proposed RLS-SCE outperforming the LS-UCE and RLS-UCE in both mean square error (MSE) and bit error ratio (BER) performance
