New and improved models of the lunar gravity field to 420x420 in sphericalharmonics have been derived from the analysis of the Gravity Recovery AndInterior Laboratory (GRAIL) intersatellite Ka-band tracking data. We discussthe measurement and force modeling applied to the analysis of the GRAIL datafrom the primary mission (March 1 to May 29, 2012), and the strategies chosento develop the high degree solutions. We summarize the quality of thegravity models developed and their impact on GRAIL precision orbit determination.
