摘要

This paper investigates the solution of Lambert’s Problem for targets in ellipticalorbits. Preliminary efforts are made in developing a mission design softwaretool to determine the optimal interplanetary trajectory and final captureorbit based on mission constraints and requirements between a departure andarrival body. Integration of the Applied Research Laboratory Trade Space Visualizersoftware permits a mission designer to visually inspect the multi-dimensionaltrade space and investigate regions of feasible trajectories.
