摘要

The present study is dedicated to the numericalsimulation of an industrial case of hybrid laser-MIGwelding of high thickness duplex steel UR2507Cu withY-shaped gap geometry. It consists on stimulating theheat transfer during the welding by COMSOLMultiphysics software using heat equivalent sourceapproach. A numerical exploratory designs method isused to identify and to optimize the heat sourcesparameters in order to obtain a small relative errorbetween the numerical results and the experiment.
