Explore Art Symbols In Urban Landscape Design

摘要

This article is an exploration about the art symbols in urban landscape design to improve the situation that local cultural spirit is missing day by day. Since art symbols carrying on local cultural characteristics are the most important elements in urban landscape design, we interprete the cognitive research on the interaction between art symbols and urban landscape. And the details about art symbols being as functional carrier, cultural carrier and emotional carrier are interpreted thoroughly also. Some excellent examples are given here to support the idea and finally some new ideas are put forward here as well.
