摘要

This paper presents the progress being made on the development of automated event tree for firerisk assessment using an agent-based model program. The methodology combines the use of a fire model,a Monte Carlo simulation and an agent-based model. In this paper, smoke ventilation is added as part ofthe fire safety systems that are to be assessed using the methodology developed. This methodology isapplied to a simple case study i.e. an office room to assess the effect of varying the operational reliabilityvalues of fire safety systems. The results are presented in the form of risk curve. This work furtherdemonstrates the potential i.e. the flexibility and robustness of this methodology to be applied as a tool forquantitative risk assessment within fire safety environment.
