摘要

How different design and operation manners influence the cooling load level quantitatively was studied in two buildings located in Beijing and Hong Kong. Field investigations and simulations were conducted to understand the causes of building cooling loads. Then the influence of different climates was eliminated to highlight the influences of different design and operation manners. On the basis of Beijing Building, the design and operation manners were changed into the Hong Kong Building mode successively. Three most important factors that cause huge differences on the cooling loads were found: air conditioning hours, indoor air conditioning temperature and lighting & plug electricity heat gain. Suggestions for the reasonable manners of design and operation were provided.
