Review of Waste Plastic Bottle Recycling Equipment Research Status

With the rapid development of economy and society, different types of wastes in cities are increasing day by day. Plastic bottles are a common waste in life. Recycling equipment has become an emerging method in terms of the advantages of cleanliness, neatness, and without the need for secondary classification. However, existing waste plastic bottle recycling equipment (WPBRE) has shortcomings such as low utilization rate, poor user experience, and unavoidable fraud behavior. Aim at the above problems, this paper reviews the research status of WPBRE for improving the intelligence and reliability. First, the components and recycling process of WPBRE are briefly explained. Then, the research status of WPBRE is analyzed. What's more, the relevant core technologies are summarized. In addition, the characteristic of different WPBRE and the research difficulties are given out. Finally, the possible future research directions are prospected.
