Currently in industry there is a great need to keep the production plants operational during 24 hours per day. However, the sudden failures that occur due to an inadequate monitoring of the conditions of the power transformers, make this need impossible, having economic repercussions for the entire Peruvian industry. Because of this, many dissolved gas analysis, DGA methods, have been developed to be able to identify faults in power transformers. In this research, the design of an intelligent system is proposed applying fuzzy logic capable of identifying internal failures in power transformers improving up to 91% of accuracy in failure identification, based on one of the DGA methods with greater accuracy and that has been developed in recent years, such as the "Application of gas-ratio combinations method"
