摘要

The values of single-phase short-circuit currents are calculated at the designing of power supply systems for selecting the parameters of fusible inserts and settings of circuit breakers. Active resistance of the arc exerts a significant effect on the single-phase short circuit current in the distribution network, especially if the short circuit occurs at the end of the protected line. The article provides a comparison of different methods for accounting of the arc.
