摘要

Transmission capability for multi-infeed HVDC power transmission system is an important issue which is concerned by many power companies greatly. From the view of the problems caused by large scale multi-infeed HVDC, the main limiting factors of DC access capability are analyzed. Based on these a method to solve DC access capability considering many limits, such as peaking capability, multi-infeed short circuit ratio, voltage stability, frequency stability and transient stability is proposed, by which the DC access capability assessment in East China Power Grid is worked out. For the main limiting factors the suggestions to improve DC access capability and optimize the layout of multi-infeed HVDC are proposed.
