Global energy Internet can solve the problem of distribution unsynchronized between the renewable energy and load central through intercontinental grid interconnection. How to make the investment decision on generation and transmission assets is one of the key problems to global energy Internet. This paper brings up the generation and transmission investment decision-making framework under global energy Internet, analyzes the impact factors should be considered in the investment decision-making process, proposes the different models to describe the generation and transmission investment decision, and finally points out the ways to solve these models.
