Thermoelectric coupling model and electromagnetic model of a 3000A/75mV DC current sensor in HVDC were established based on FE method, and the results of temperature rises and electromagnetic forces with different measuring currents were analyzed. Then, the measurement errors of this DC current sensor with different measuring currents were estimated according to the results of temperature rises and electromagnetic forces.
