In order to completely satisfy the requirements of the loess foundation pit engineering and achieve the same effect with anchor cable support. Self-tapping precession-type soil anchor bolt is a new-type spiral tension member. Through the study of its mechanical transmission mechanism, the mounting torque of the anchor bolt is deduced. And the feasibility of anchor bolt support in loess foundation pit is proved by using numerical simulation and the moisture content experiment. Through data monitoring of the practical engineering, the reliability of this technology is shown, providing reference for the loess foundation pit supporting projects.
