In order to overcome the problem of low efficiency in remote monitoring of the structural stress of large-scale machinery and equipment, the paper proposes a remote monitoring method for the structural stress of large-scale machinery and equipment. The paper according to the structural characteristics of large-scale mechanical equipment extracted, the finite element analysis of the whole machine structure is carried out to determine the influence of thermal stress on the structure, and the quantitative structural stress and displacement calculation results are obtained. According to the degree of freedom value of structural element, the allowable stress threshold and abnormal change stress threshold are set, and the remote monitoring model is established by combining BP-GA neural network to achieve the purpose of structural stress monitoring. The experimental results show that the bus transmission time of remote monitoring technology is less than that of traditional monitoring technology, and the real-time performance of fault diagnosis is higher, which has good practical application value.
