This paper describes the study of aerodynamic processes of drying of capillary-porous materials, in particular for CAD model of wood drying chamber. This model is designed in the SolidWorks environment. The research is done by creating an experiment in the SolidWorks Flow Simulation environment, by which we were able to recreate the aerodynamic processes in the studied CAD model. As a result of the experiment, we obtained the numerical values of the wood drying agent parameters according to the time iterations, including temperature, humidity and velocity of air masses. For parameterization of this CAD model, we created a software that can automatically design components and create assembly by using SolidWorks API. In addition, the software provides an opportunity to study of the interaction of aerodynamic processes of CAD model and the stacks of lumber, through its representation in the form of a three-dimensional array, whose elements are 3D cubes. This representation allows us to use the theory of cellular automata during this study. Also in this paper, you can see the results of modeling the air masses trajectory, as well as the graphs of temperature and humidity change of the wood drying agent according to the time iterations.
