Omnidirectional in the azimuth plane antennas are needed to emit or receive signals in the whole plane. Such antennas are used in various applications: digital television or mobile communications, sensors, radio monitoring systems and others. Here we show design results of omnidirectional antennas based on circular arrays composed by elements of different types. Limitation on key parameters and the dependences of the radiation pattern irregularity in azimuth plane on them are given. This allows you to use the presented mathematical models for the design omnidirectional in the azimuth plane antennas according to the requirements for frequencies, dimensions and the radiation pattern azimuthal irregularity.
