The Boost converter is used in many applications, one of the examples in photovoltaic systems. In this system needs a converter that has a high conversion ratio and efficient. The boost converters in general have a disadvantage on low voltage ratio and also low power efficiency. The topology of boost converter has been developed to obtain greater performance rather than the ordinary boost converter. One of the results from the development of boost converter topology is a DC-DC SEPIC integrated with boost converter, this converter is a boost converter that integrated with the converter SEPIC using the series output module and switch single. Our goal through this paper to design and implements DC-DC SEPIC that integrated with boost converter or SEPIC-Integrated Boost (SIB) converter for photovoltaic system. The Result from simulation between programmed software and experiment shown almost the same waveforms. Our SIB converter is able to convert the voltage input 24V DC to 163V DC at 60% duty cycle. Our SIB converter also has maximum efficiency amounted to 87.6% at a load of 25.4 W or 71.8% of the total load.
