A new technique has been implemented to control a wheelchair which is based on eye-tracking and voice. The main purpose of the electric controlled wheelchair is to assist physically disabled people who are dependent on other people to do their routine work. This new technique uses two types of modes to control the electric wheelchair- The first mode is using Eyeball movement and the second mode is using Voice control, User can give commands to move the wheelchair. HAAR cascade algorithm. is implemented to detect the position of the eye, a wheelchair will start functioning. i.e. if the eye pupil is turned left, then the wheelchair will turn left and so on and The Second mode uses a Voice module based on the commands, the wheelchair starts functioning. The Ultrasonic-sensor is used to sense any obstacle during the moment of the electric-wheelchair. A message module is provided to send an emergency message to the user's respective guardian.
