Establish a Simulation Platform of DNS Root Server in Campus Network Laboratory

摘要

In the experiment teaching of computer network DNS course, domain names among students cannot communicate with each other, because the self-defined domain name is not authorized by the official ROOT DNS server of the Internet. The paper focuses on setting up a root domain simulation platform to simulate the root domain name and the top-level domain name server in the internal network of the campus. When students conduct DNS service experiments, they can achieve the same ‘real’ effect as the resolution of internet domain name.
