Regarding the earthing system and foundation heating problem of 66kV dry-type hollow reactor in a 750kV substation ,In order to accurately analyze the reason and take corresponding measures,firstly infrared temperature measurement was used to identify and determine the source of heat, then we replaced the grounding system metal,Analyzed structure of the reactor infrastructure,tested the conducting performance of steel reinforcement inside the foundation,simulated the earthing system of the reactor,analyzed the effects of circulation heating and eddy current heating comprehensively,the causes of heat were identified and corresponding measures were put forward.Finally, it was concluded that the eddy current of the conductive material in the magnetic field was the cause of the heating of the flat iron grounded in the reactor,the heating of the reactor foundation was caused by the metal ring in the raft.
