Electromagnetic flowmeter will be interfered by slurry noise during slurry measurement. This paper analyzes the randomness and 1/f characteristics of slurry noise, and studies the influence of flow rate, sand-to-water mass ratio and excitation frequency on slurry noise characteristics. In order to reduce the influence of slurry noise, this paper compares and analyzes several smoothing filtering algorithms of slurry flow signal based on step excitation electromagnetic flowmeter. Through flow measurement experimental device, the comparative experiment of steady-state volatility and dynamic response speed of different algorithms has been carried out. Experiments show that moving average median smoothing algorithm has the best comprehensive filtering performance.
