In the current development process of the energy industry, the application of distributed energy in power systems is increasing, and at the same time, it has brought new impacts and challenges to the safety and stability of power system operations. Because the distributed power source based on the power electronic inverter interface does not have the rotational inertia and damping components to keep the system stable. These are the inherent characteristics of synchronous generators in the development of traditional power systems. Virtual synchronous generator control technology, as an important method to effectively control distributed inverter power sources and ensure that they have similar characteristics to synchronous generators, can greatly improve the stability of power systems. Therefore, in order to ensure the effective application of distributed power in the power system, research and analysis on the control technology of virtual synchronous generators are needed. Only in this way can the active role of virtual synchronous generator control technology in distributed power be fully brought into play, and the safe and stable operation of China's power system can be ensured, while promoting the long-term sustainable development of the power industry.
