In civil and military applications, airport runway target detection has important application value. A detection algorithm combining Steerable filter and multi-scale Radon transform is proposed for different light source scenarios. First of all, the convolution template is constructed for image graying and cyclic direction base-angles, and the linear iterative direction filter diagram is constructed. Then, according to the requirements of detection accuracy, the projection transform matrix is obtained by selecting the corresponding angle interval through Radon transform, and finally the runway straight line diagram area is fitted. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional Radon transform algorithm, the algorithm can detect the airstrip photographed under multiple light sources and has good engineering application value.
