摘要

One of the most important issues that must be considered after the design and construction of an electric motor is the loading test. By loading test, operational characteristic of a motor can be extracted. Recently, double-sided axial flux permanent magnet motors attracted many attentions. In this paper, the loading test of two separate rotor axial flux permanent magnet motor is studied using the finite element method. Results show that the aforementioned motor has better load flexibility but when the load difference in the two rotors becomes larger, power factor and efficiency of motor decreased.
