This paper takes into account the mitigating of unbalance voltage in power transmission and power common coupling (PCC) points in the built benchmark which consist of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers 30 bus (IEEE30bus) using simulation in MATLAB/SIMULINK. One of the shunt compensation FACTS method utilized in this work is Energy Storage Static synchronous compensator (ESTATCOM) including modern control action as Adaptive Disturbance Elimination Control (ADEC) performed. The control method based on an Extended State Observer (ESO) in order to estimate the internal and external of voltage control in which provide compensation for disturbances especially negative sequence occurrence. Definition of voltage unbalance in this paper based on IEEE definition of the percentage Voltage Unbalance Factor (%VUF), that is defined as the negative sequence voltage component divided on the positive sequence voltage component. Results show that when ESTATCOM has been used impact on both active and reactive power.
