摘要

The selective harmonics elimination is a simple and effective technique of multilevel inverters staircase switching strategy. In order to reduce cost and weight of the output filter lower order harmonics are eliminated in the selective harmonic elimination. However, this often leads to higher order harmonics increase and therefore total harmonics distortion increases. In this paper, a multi-objective particle swarm optimization is used to find optimal solution regarding both low order harmonic elimination and low total harmonics distortion.
