Traditional Electric Power Data Network (EPDN) device tests are implied manually with the testing resources utilized separately. Such way of testing is of low efficiency and is difficult for the management of device resources. With the rapid increase of testing tasks in the future, improving the test efficiency and the resource utilization is of great importance to the development of EPDN. In this article, we propose a novel automated test framework for EPDN. In particular, we abstracts the related knowledge from data of real world experimental resources and testing business, based on the extracted knowledge, we combine virtualization technology with automated testing technology and software quality management, and proposes an automated test framework with unified scheduling of testing resources. The proposed framework is evaluated with the task of route flapping testing. The provided test flow and test results prove the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed framework.
