For many acoustic technologies, the measurement of room impulse responses is important. To improve measurement accuracy and cost, various measurement methods have been proposed. For sound field control or analysis, impulse responses should be measured at multiple points by using a microphone. However, repeated measuring impulse responses by moving a microphone to each measurement point requires significant time and effort. A massive microphone array can help measure multiple impulse responses simultaneously. However, in most cases, sound reflections by the microphone array should not be ignored. In this paper, we propose an estimation method of the transfer functions of direct sound from a single loudspeaker to a local region. The transfer functions are modeled via the superposition of sparse point sources, which are selected based on the measurement of the transfer function at a few points.
