摘要

Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) gain enormous attention with the diversification of the applications. However, the related works reduces the packet delivery ratio to save the energy consumption of end devices. This paper proposes a method to improve the packet delivery ratio in heterogeneous WSNs. The proposed method controls duty-cycle in the IEEE802.15.4 beacon enabled mode with taking into account buffer overflow. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
