Proposal of a Method of Reducing Difference of Mean Delay between Paths in MPTCP by SDN

摘要

This paper proposes a novel method of reducing the difference of mean delay between subflows of MPTCP, which utilizes the multi-pathization of subflows by using SDN. In communication with MPTCP, as the difference of delay between subflows becomes larger, QoS decreases more due to packet reordering. The proposal can reduce the mean difference of delay between subflows by multi-pathization of subflows. The authors implemented the method and evaluated QoS by actual experiments. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposal.
