Location Based Camera Disable System on Android Platform

摘要

Smart phones can be used secretly to take pictures of forbidden documents and places. This hinders their security and can lead to sensitive data leakage. Location based service (LBS) are value based services that offer many advantages to the mobile user to retrieve the information about their current location and to get useful information near their location. Device policy manger provides with administrative features at system level. It registers the system as device administers which make it accessible to device policies like password enable, storage, encryption, disable camera etc. This paper presents an android application that takes the advantage of LBS and device policy manger along with Global positioning system (GPS) and other features of android.
