Wind Turbines used in residential applications typically range from a few KW to 10 KW. Small-scale wind turbines are more suitable for remote off-grid locations. A 0.5-1KWp, Hummer wind turbine has been installed in Noagea-Benghazi since 2010 for educational proposes, field studies, training and graduate projects. The wind turbine performance tests were conducted on the site after decreasing tower height from 6m to 4m to protect rotor blades during strong winds and storms. The purpose of this paper is to present and provide independent field testing results for the small turbines after new tower high performance. Performing power output was one of up to ten tests that were performed on the turbines. Other tests include site test, wind speed tests, field power curve. Annual energy production and total emmitions saving. It is concluded that the annual average energy produced is 644 KWh and the the total CO2 emmitions saving equal 0.558 ton/year at average wind speed 4m/s.
