Future Scope for 5G with respect to the Indian Telecommunication Sector and Proposed Solution of Setting Up 5G in Rural Areas using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

India has seen a steady growth in its telecommunication sector in the last ten years. The commercial sectors for telecommunication have seen some major changes in the past few years as Reliance JIO hit the market. However, none of the telecommunication companies have been fortunate enough to enjoy a good profit margin. With upcoming technologies, the tariffs are becoming cheaper. Currently India has 4Th Generation LTE networks as the latest technology when it comes to data services. 5th Generation Networks are yet to hit the market. In this paper we shall see how 5th Generation Networks may affect the consumers as well as the Internet Service Providers. Providing 5G networks in rural areas as soon as it hits the markets can be tough as the returns from the investment in rural areas would be pretty less. In this paper we shall look into a solution which describes how we can effectively tackle this problem using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles which would control the network coverage for cellular networks. Since 5th Generation Networks use millimeter waves as baseband carriers, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles can be seen as a potential solution for the problems that we are likely to face.
