摘要

Micro-Machined Patch Antenna Array designs for X-band applications have been presented in this work. Conventional Patch antenna array has been designed on the high resistive ( 8KΩ-cm) silicon substrate having thickness 675 μm with the corporate feed network. Conventional Array designs have been modified into the Micro-Machined antenna array to enhance the performance parameters. The Gain and Bandwidth has been improved with the application of Micro-Machined Antenna Array over the conventional Patch Antenna. In this work 2×1, 4×1 and 2×2 array has been designed. The proposed antenna designs can be used for the earth exploration satellite service (EESS) downlink which includes 8.025-8.4 GHz band also called International Telecommunication Union Bands.
