Infrared small target detection is a topic of great significance in the field of precision guidance and infrared warning. Since the target size is extremely small and the feature information is few, the detection is very difficult, especially under complex ground background. This paper focused on feature analysis of infrared small target and false alarm, establishing a target feature dictionary. In temporal domain, the algorithm method utilizes a fusion filter method and adaptive segmentation to effectively suppress background clutter. In spatial domain, continuity of target feature is used to remove false alarms. The experimental results show that the method has higher detection rate and lower false alarm rate compared with traditional method under complex ground background.
