Research on the Energy Internet Under the Background of Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things

With the progress of energy reform, the reform of energy system gradually moves forward from single energy field to comprehensive energy field. In 2019, the state grid corporation of China (SGCC) put forward the strategic idea of building the ubiquitous power internet of things (UPIoT), providing new support and guarantee for the construction of energy internet (EI). Based on the latest construction direction of UPIoT, the basic concept of UPIoT is expounded, and the key characteristics of UPIoT in connotation definition, hierarchical structure, application mode and other aspects are discussed in this paper. Furthermore, considering the strategic convergence point and operational focus of UPIoT and EI, the construction and integration mode is put forward, aiming to provide reference suggestions for the deep integration of physical network and information network. Final, the key technologies of EI construction under the background of PIoT are studied in the fields of perception, computing, networking and security. As the basic research framework of EI construction, the research content provides a certain method and path for relevant technical research.
