With the application of new communication facilities and the development of information and communication technology, remote terminal unit and phasor measurement unit can obtain comprehensive and detailed information of power grid in real time, the demand of power system energy management has been increasingly improved. Meanwhile, the advantages of cloud computing prompt relevant researchers to consider the implementation of energy management system in the form of cloud services. However, privacy information of agents under the framework of cloud energy management may be exposed to third parties, such as cloud servers, or data attackers. To ensure the privacy preservation in cloud energy management problem in the form of linear programming, the information masking algorithm as well as its implementation mechanism in cloud are proposed. A case study on a smart home with electrical devices is conducted to demonstrate the proposed methodology.
