Fieldbus technology is a hotspot in automatic area, and it is beginning to be used in the I&C system design of NPP. But the design requirement of NNP is more rigorous the general industry. For the reliable and traceable design requirement for fieldbus network Applied in Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), this paper provides the practical design principle and design process of fieldbus network to guide the engineering application to fulfill the requirements of reliability and traceability in NPP, which include design steps, design document route, reliable structure of fieldbus network and reasonable allocation principle of fieldbus device.
