To measure the dissolved oxygen concentration, microbial concentration and substrate concentration in activated sludge sewage treatment process which the control system has serious nonlinear, time varying and uneasy to establish mathematic model properties, a fuzzy active disturbance rejection controller (ADRC) is presented in this paper. ADRC is prominent in high precision and good anti-disturbance capabilities. Fuzzy control has strong robustness and adaptability. The controller can combine the characteristics of ADRC and fuzzy control. Compared with fuzzy PID, simulation results in MATLAB show that the fuzzy ADRC has the features of fast response, small overshoot and has strong robustness and anti-disturbance. Better control effect can be obtained by use of the controller.
