摘要

Reliability analysis of standby redundant systems is essential in continuous industrial process applications. This paper proposes the Markov chain modelling of the networked control system with standby redundant elements. It involves the evaluation of all the operating, repair and failure states of elements and their probabilities of failure using stochastic transitional probability matrix. The frequency of each encountering the state of failure is presented to predict the reliability of the networked control system. The results of the mathematical approach are presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed model with redundant sensor and actuator connected in NCS.
