As the population of India grows exponentially day by day, there is an equal rise in energy demand to meet the needs of the masses. Moreover, we have very low amounts of non-renewable energy resources. So, the most viable alternative is to effectively use the renewable sources of energy. Among the renewable sources of energy, solar energy offers inexhaustible and limitless availability throughout the day from any point. However, at present, we are harnessing solar energy through the application of traditional photo voltaic system that occupies large space. In this context, "solar trees" offer the most promising alternative wherein solar panels are arranged in patterns of leaves. More than the solar trees, "Rotating solar trees" produce more energy, thereby offering the best alternative to harness solar energy throughout the day as per the movement of the sun. In fact, the sun rays do not rain fixed at a certain place as the Sun rotates 360° throughout the day from west to east. This rotating solar tree arrangement will rotate according to the movement of the sunrays throughout the day by using a rotor, resulting in generation of substantially higher amounts of energy as compared to the linear and tree arrangement of panels [1].
