1. The grain of Al-2%Cu alloy was refined when the vibration was given to molten metal. 2. The grain size becomes small with an increase in amplitude and frequency of vibration. 3. The average grain size was can be estimated by the excitation force. 4. When the vibration was given to the mold, the convection was occurred and the number of crystal nucleation increased on the mold wall.
