NUMERICAL MODELLING OF SHSB METAL MATRIX COMPOSITE SOLIDIFICATION

摘要

Proposed mathematical model and its numerical implementation describes the SHSB process correctly. The results are compatible with the predictions. The synthesis reaction significantly increases the temperature in the system. The similar process progress in simulations and experiments indicates that model includes all important phenomena characteristic for the SHSB technology.
